The upcoming MEMOCRACY conference will explore the intersection of memory and politics, focusing on how mnemonic narratives shape constitutional identity, populism, and foreign policy in Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference is co-organised by the Academy for Human Rights Protection of the University of Cologne, the School of History and the Center for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. It brings together leading experts in the field from various disciplines, including law, history, political sciences, international relations, and sociology.
