We warmly invite you to the International Conference Remembrance, Religion and Secularity in Central and Eastern Europe and beyond, which takes place at the Faculty of Culture and Art of the University of Warsaw on June 13-15, 2024, and to the masterclasses for students from Poland and abroad preceding the conference on June 12, 2024.
The conference is organized by the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology and the Centre of Figurational Research of the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Warsaw and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The event is financed under the international grant Post-secular approach to memory processes in Central-Eastern Europe financed by Visegrad Fund ID 22230096 and the "Excellence Initiative - Research University" program of the University of Warsaw. The conference partners are the Centre for Research on Social Memory (University of Warsaw), Working Goup on Lived Religion (Penn State University) and the KFG “Universalism and Particularism in European Contemporary History” (LMU Munich).
