We are glad to welcome our Senior Fellow Carsten Herrmann-Pillath at the KFG.
Carsten Herrmann-Pillath (*1959) is Professor and Permanent Fellow at the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, University of Erfurt. His transdisciplinary research covers economic philosophy, evolutionary, ecological and institutional economics, and Chinese studies. In 2017, he published a comprehensive monograph on China’s economic system: “China’s Economic Culture: The Ritual Order of State and Markets” (Routledge). In 2023, the summa of his work as an economist was published (co-authored with Christian Hederer): ‘A New Principles of Economics.
